HOW TO MENTOR?

HOW TO BECOME A MENTOR

1.  First ask yourself why you want to mentor. Are you in it for the kids? Or for yourself? Because we
believe in effective mentoring, which means constant, consistent interaction and engagement. If you
are looking to drop in an give a pep talk speech so that you feel good, LOT mentoring is not for you.

2. If you
are up to the challenge, submit the application materials in one of the following ways:
- Scan it in and email it to us at leaders@dcbmbaa.org
- Mail it to us at P.O. Box 14042, Washington, DC 20044, or
- Fax it to (813) 741-4946.
- Bring it to an upcoming meeting.
