LOT INCORPORATED
LOT Incorporated is the organizational
structure for student officers, designed to
promote active leadership in practice.
Students must plan and execute nine
community service activities and 2 charitable
fundraisers each year, among other duties.
President & Chief Executive Officer: Student responsible
for the activities of LOT Inc. and actions of his or her
subordinates.
Executive Vice President: Responsible for assisting the
President and CEO with his or her duties. Functions as
President/CEO in his or her absence.
Chief Operations Officer: Student responsible for
ensuring that LOT activities are executed efficiently and
effectively, on time and on budget. Head project planner.
Records minutes of board meetings; and collects/forwards all
correspondence. Reports to the President & CEO.
Responsible for the operations of each class. Collects
reports from Class Managing Directors.
Chief Information Officer: Responsible for all Leaders
activities related to technology and internal dissemination of
information. Reports to the President & CEO.
Chief Financial Officer: Student responsible for the
revenue and expenses of the program. Reports to the
President & CEO.
Vice President of Community Service : Student
responsible for recommending and managing community
service projects. Reports to President & CEO.
Vice President of Marketing and Communications :
Student responsible for the marketing of LOT projects.
Reports to the President & CEO. Responsible for design and
maintenance of the LOT website and dissemination of
information through the NBMBAA-DC Chapter website. Also
responsible for press relations.
Vice President of Sales, Research, and Development:
Student responsible for research, fundraising and
entrepreneurial ideas and implementation. Reports to the
President & CEO.
Class Managing Director (Sr., Jr., Sophomore,
Freshman, Eighth Grade): Reports the needs and
recommendations of each class and helps class members
understand expectations. Manages special projects. Reports
to the Chief Operations Officer.
